The consortium was founded in 1997 and is partly finances by the Swedish Energy Agency. The research aims at project oriented material tests and material development in laboratories and plants. The goal of the consortium is to solve the material problems to make electricity production based on renewables more effective and to contribute to the development of new materials for the future. All projects are implemented jointly by the industry and universities.
