The goal of ERA-NET Bioenergy is to strengthen national bioenergy research programmes and one way to reach this goal is implementing joint research activities. This is realized by setting up pilots of joint transnational bioenergy research in the form of Joint Work Programmes (JWP) and by learning from these lessons. The joint work programmes can be carried out as evaluations, project co-operation, calls, etc. For information about calls, see the different Joint Calls. All member countries of ERA-NET Bioenergy do not necessarily need to be part of all the joint work programmes.
